Puppy Store Visiting Policies: What You Need to Know

At XO PUPS, we’re all about wagging tails, happy hearts and finding every pup a loving forever home. Our puppy store visiting policies keep that experience safe and fun for everyone.

We love that you’re excited to meet our puppies! Before the snuggles and zoomies start, though, let’s go over a few things. That way everyone (especially the pups!) stays safe, happy and healthy.

💡 Why We Have Puppy Store Visiting Policies

Puppies are adorable, but they’re also delicate! They need structure, rest and limited exposure to germs and stress. So we created a few quick and easy policies to make your visit awesome for you and peaceful for them. 🐾

🗓️ Visits and Appointments

Appointments are highly recommended!
We’re not a petting zoo. We’re a puppy matchmaking service! When you book ahead, we have time to help you meet the right pup. It also keeps our puppies from getting overwhelmed. You can book your appointment online in about a minute.

Before you come in, take a look at our available puppies. You can also compare breeds on the AKC website to narrow down your list.

Walk ins are welcome (yay!), but puppy play may be limited based on availability.

🧸 Bringing Kids

We love little humans almost as much as we love little dogs! But for safety:

• Children under 18 must be supervised by an adult at all times.
• We may limit how many kids play with the puppies at once. That just keeps things calm and gentle for everyone.

🐕‍🦺 Puppy Play Limits

To keep our pups relaxed and happy:

• We usually allow 1 or 2 puppies out per visit.
• Our staff may limit play based on your preferences and the puppies’ mood that day.
• No roughhousing or excessive handling, please. We’re here for serious puppy love only! ❤️

⏰ Downtime Is a Must

Even the most energetic floof needs a break. Here’s when the pups rest:

• Monday through Saturday: 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM
• Sunday: 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM

💤 No playtime during these rest and feeding hours, please! The puppies need their beauty sleep and full bellies.

After 7 PM: Puppy bedtime begins. 🐾 After that, there’s no more playtime, just cozy cuddles in their crates.

📝 Our Puppy Interaction Form

Before you meet a pup, we’ll ask you to fill out a quick form. Why? It helps us:

• Get to know you and your puppy preferences
• Track visits for safety and care
• Keep things organized and sanitary

By signing, you also agree to let us keep a secure record of your basic ID and contact info. (We don’t share it. Scout’s honor! 🤝)

🛑 A Friendly Heads Up

We know puppies are irresistible. But remember: this isn’t just playtime. It’s a serious step toward adoption.

We limit how and when puppies come out to protect their health and comfort. We also reserve the right to approve or deny play requests based on what our pups need at the time of your visit.
