Visiting Our Puppies? Here’s What You Need to Know!

At XO PUPS, we’re all about wagging tails, happy hearts, and finding every pup their perfect forever home.

We love that you’re excited to meet our furry friends—but before you dive into snuggles and zoomies, let’s go over a few things to make sure everyone (especially the pups!) stays safe, happy, and healthy.

💡 Why We Have Visiting Policies

Puppies aren’t just adorable—they’re also delicate! They need structure, rest, and limited exposure to germs and stress. We’ve created some quick and easy policies to make your visit awesome for you and peaceful for them. 🐾

🗓️ Visits & Appointments

Appointments are highly recommended!
We’re not a petting zoo—we’re a puppy matchmaking service! Booking an appointment ensures we have time to help you meet the right pup and keeps our furry crew from getting overwhelmed.

Walk-ins are welcome (yay!) but puppy play may be limited based on availability.

🧸 Bringing Kids?

We love little humans almost as much as we love little dogs! But for safety:

• Children under 18 must be supervised by an adult at all times.
• We may limit how many kids interact with the puppies at once—just to keep things calm and gentle for everyone involved.

🐕‍🦺 Puppy Play Limits

To keep our pups relaxed and happy:

• We usually allow 1–2 puppies out per visit
• Our staff may limit play based on your preferences and the puppies’ mood that day
• No roughhousing or excessive handling—we’re here for serious puppy love only! ❤️

⏰ Downtime Is a Must

Even the most energetic floof needs a break. Here’s when the pups rest:

• Monday through Saturday: 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
• Sunday: 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM

💤 No playtime during these rest and feeding hours, please! They need their beauty sleep and belly fill-ups.

After 7 PM? Puppy bedtime begins. 🐾 No more playtime—just cozy cuddles in their crates.

📝 Our Puppy Interaction Form

Before you meet a pup, we’ll ask you to fill out a quick form. Why?

It helps us:

• Get to know you and your puppy preferences
• Track visits for safety and care
• Make sure we’re keeping things organized and sanitary

By signing, you also agree to let us keep a secure record of your basic ID and contact info. (We don’t share—scout’s honor. 🤝)

🛑 A Friendly Heads-Up

We know puppies are irresistible—but remember: This isn’t just playtime. It’s a serious step toward adoption.

We limit how and when puppies are brought out to ensure their health and well-being. We reserve the right to approve or deny play requests based on the needs of our pups at the time of your visit.
